Crispin Literary is in the business of working for you, the author, and representing your best interests.
Editorial • Publicity • Representation
Unlike some of the big corporate literary agencies, we give every project full personalized attention, all the way from crafting compelling book proposals to insuring the most effective marketing of the finished project.
Along the way, we provide a full range of services depending on your needs as an author, including editorial and writing help. With our extensive contacts in the difficult-to-navigate world of book publishing, we can find you the best deal with the publisher that best suits your project and the widest potential audience.
If we accept your project, you can be certain that we are fully committed to its success.
Editorial
Crispin Literary assists authors from the origin of their book project to the delivery of the final manuscript to the publisher. We work with authors to refine their book concept, to develop a winning proposal that has the best chance of being accepted, and to provide editorial assistance in the course of writing.
Representation
Crispin Literary knows how to pitch your proposal and your background to secure the best possible deal from a publisher with regard to author royalties and advances. We know what the industry standards are, and we can help you determine the difference between a good offer and one that’s best left on the table.
